The Hemp Plant
The environment has largely been affected by the development efforts of men in several ways. This can be attributed as the main reason as to why people have been forced world over, to seek environmentally friendly way of sustaining and improving their development efforts and their lives in general. This is where the use of hemp products comes in as big milestones can be made towards making our environment recover. Several authorities globally have spoken against and questioned hemp products as its mainly viwed as a substance that can be abused. With a margin of less than one percent, like Marijuana the hemp plant also contains the chemical Tetrahydrocannabinol responsible for making people high.
Dwelling on the advantages that the hemp plant can bring to the game, one is that it’s capable of bringing the aspect of going green in several of products that are in production right now. The hemp plant is very unique because of having top of the class sustainability. The hemp plant has a feature of growing to maturity within a short period of time and therefore can be re-grown a number of times within the season. Depending on where one is, you can grow the hemp plant with little or no pesticides making it easy on those growing it.
The plant has also been proven to be friendly to the soils as it replenishes nutrients to the soil and in the process boosting the fertility level of soils. For areas that have been written off as wastelands due to the effect of nuclear explosions, the hemp plant can be used to clean the radioactive content off the ground hence making those areas habitable again, a paramount advantage of the plant. The hemp plant seeds has oils with good in acids and moisture contents that support anti-aging effects and can therefore be used in the making of cosmetics that have less chemicals and more natural ingredients.
In any part of the world energy is precious and is the driving power of development and our lifestyles in general. The hemp plant can produce cleaner sources of energy like methanol which is also clean at the same time. Looking at the current sources of energy like petroleum that have some hazardous emissions that end up creating acid rain, hemp energy will have none of that.
The hemp plant contains a fiber that is found within the stalk of the plant which can be used in the production of clothes which are pocket friendly for the consumer. At this point in time maybe we should consider making the hemp plant a partner in life and in saving the environment.
